Biography & History

Scarlett Chaton dances between styles as gracefully as she moves across the stage. Bringing a decade of experience, she prides herself in fusing her musical prowess into every movement she makes. Scarlett curates her costumes with care, creating custom pieces and eye catching embellishments.

Scarlett began her burlesque journey after attending a show in college (her alma mater is Oberlin Conservatory near Cleveland!). She was instantly drawn to the art, and jumped in with both heels. After a short time, she gathered other interested students, created the burlesque student organization, and began producing and directing shows!

After graduating, Scarlett enrolled in burlesque classes, and after debuting her first professional number, “Burn,” she continued on into the realm of professional burlesque performance.

She now calls Columbus Ohio her home, where she is a leading member of the Villainous Vices Performance Collective, and is a regular performer in the late night all-queer dance party and show Queerbomb, and many other shows at District West!
